Xfinity Connect is down

Something's terribly wrong with Xfinity Connect. When I log in, I get a blank page and no emails have appeared, no matter how many times I reload the page! It seems that Xfinity Connect is down! When will it be back up? :(

@angeldeb82 ,

This morning’s issue affecting customers’ ability to send/receive their Xfinity email has been addressed. You should now be able to use your service as you would normally, including seeing any missing emails. If you continue to experience these issues, please let us know.

I use the Xfinity connect through Microsoft Edge browser.  If this has been resolved then why is the error "The connection to remote server imap-east.ge.xfinity.com was refused or timed out while attempting to connect. Please try again later."  Still happening?  I use AT&T internet.  Is this a way for Xfinity to limit other internet providers who have comcast.net email?????  I probably need to change everything over to gmail.

@user_h86g7e Thanks for reaching out on our Community Forums. While we have seen many customers regain access, we'd be happy to help look further into your account and troubleshoot this issue with you. Would you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address?

To send a Direct Message:

Ensure you are logged in

  • Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
    • As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
    • An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it.
