Xfinity email and SMS suspension message for wrong bill amount

Hi, I've been receiving many emails via omptrans.emails.xfinity.com telling me account is suspended and asking to pay a large amount of money. I have paid my bill but keep getting these messages asking to pay more and more and more each time.

Regards,

Stephen

user_dz9849 There is a known scam about what you are describing. If the email does not match what you see in the Xfinity app or online at Xfinity.com please delete, spam, and report to our CSA team at internetsecurity.xfinity.com/help/report-abuse. What you see online or through the app is the most accurate information on your account.

thanks I submitted the details to security. But how will I get the money back? The scammers took $4327.00. This is a very clever scam. The link goes to the actual Xfinity payment site but via a 3rd party server. They take the credit card details and charge thousands of dollars to my bank account. The result is brutal.

and what is most interesting is that they had my mobile number, xfinity account number, email address, and the SMS link went to the correct Xfinity payment site. But when I entered my credit card nothing happened then 10 minutes later all my money was gone. I don't even have money for food, gas, bills.

That is spam email and can be reported as such.

If you're on the connect.xfinity.com website any official email from Comcast/Xfinity will have the verifying logo next to the email.
