I am not sure what a third part email means.   I access my email on my iPad.

You haven't given us a lot to go on to answer your question.

A "third party email app" is any program that is used to get your email, but not on webmail 

[ https://connect.xfinity.com/appsuite ].  That might be Apple mail, Outlook, Thunderbird, etc.

Since you're using an iPad, how do you access your email?  With a web browser and webmail, or a third party email app?

Are you having a problem logging in to email?  What errors are you getting?  Are you new to Comcast?
