xfinity emailed me about an email I never established or used.

Received an email from xfinity stating that my inactive email account would be deleted.  I never  set this account up.  Why did it exit?

Check to make sure its a legitimate email from Comcast/Xfinity.  To do so-------------

If you don't see the logo where its supposed to be, it is probably a phishing scam.

Hello, @user_27489f You can create up to six secondary Xfinity IDs on your Xfinity account in addition to the primary user ID. Beginning June 3, 2024, customers will not be able to create new Xfinity Email (comcast.net) accounts. If you have an existing Xfinity Email account, you can continue to access and use your existing Xfinity Email account as you do today through the Xfinity Email website. You may be prompted to log in to your account using your Xfinity ID and password.
