Xfinity Support

My Xfinity is not able to send or receive emails using Outlook as my email client on my Macbook Pro. I have not changed any settings and this was working as of 2 days ago.

You're not alone. See the growing thread at https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/email/unable-to-connect-to-pop3-server-this-morning/68af0959e127b572a1266228

Same problem. Lots of threads and posts. This seems to happen every so often but getting worse lately and now they haven't even fixed it despite being down for almost a day.

Thanks for reaching out to us this link https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/third-party-email-access has great information on how to link your outlook e-mail to your Xfinity e-mail. If you can access your email via https://login.xfinity.com/login or via the xfinity app ( go to search and type in go to email in box) then you may need to go through your settings on your outlook to make sure your e-mail information is listed through Outlook correctly along with your Xfinity password

you may also try resetting your xfinity password and then putting in the new password in your outlook settings
