yahoo email transition

My emails transitioned.  I can receive emails just fine and have been for several days.  The problem is I cannot send or reply to any emails without getting error messages like: "Edge: too many requests" and not able to sign in to Yahoo account, and connection to yahoo server timed out.  I am using Thunderbird with POP3, Firefox, Win11.  Has anyone else experienced an email send problem like mine?  If I try to contact Yahoo - Support is a paid service and I need to have my credit card ready before I ask a question.    :(

Thanks for reaching out through our community forums, user_wgn3wf! Sorry to hear you're having problems sending emails through Thunderbird! To confirm, are you able to send them when signed in directly through the website?

Thanks for confirming! So it sounds like the email service itself is working, but there's a disconnect somewhere between it and Thunderbird. We're no longer able to assist directly, but you might find some guidance from Thunderbird's support page here or from Yahoo here.

The concern is not "accessibility / disability" help related............ Topic moved here to the proper help section.
