Ads on purchased show

Hi

I'm wondering why there are now ads on a show I purchased the season for. It's still airing, but it wasn't that way before nor would I have bought it if was advertised as such. 

Also, episode release changed from 24 hrs to 1 week now for some reason and no one in support can tell me why.

I don't generally enjoy complaining so my only other solution to this ridiculous saga is to never purchase media through xfinity again and utilize a more consistent streaming service.

There is no other reason than greed on the part of the owners of the show.
