Change timezones on Flex?

I turned my Flex box on today and noticed the time displayed is way off (hours out of sync with the time zone I live in). I checked to make sure that it was my account details and that I didn't get logged out or something - everything was fine.

I checked in the hardware settings and you can change if you use a 12 or 24 hr clock, but you can't actually change the time zone. Did I miss a section on where you can actually change the time zone?

I am having the exact same problem. I came here looking for answers. My clock is off by 3 hours. No clue how to change it.

The more I use this thing the more I realize they really couldn’t even think of the basics.

I’m having the same problem mine is three hours ahead and I’m in California. I just spent 30 minutes on the phone with Xfinity tech-support and they have no idea how to fix the issue.

Also I just noticed that when I posted this reply the time is three hours ahead so it seems like it’s some kind of time zone issue with my account.

Nope. And it appears that Xfinity Cust. Svc. was contacted by another customer for this issue and they had no clue on why it happened or how to fix, and yet I hear their rates are going up next year.

Typical Comcast/Xfinity

Interestingly, I'm in Utah and mine is 2 hours ahead, which also puts it in the Eastern time zone instead of my own. I don't know how long it's been like this. I just noticed it tonight because I went to use the Amazon Prime and it was glitching so I restarted the Flex box. I'm still getting some glitching, just in that app, but while looking through the help options I noticed the time was wrong, and it won't let me open the account info to check it, it refresh the system. Basically I can only restart the box. And that's not solving the problems of the app glitch, the settings glitches, or how to SET THE TIME.

Yep.. same  here in the Bay area..when I check my account details it shows the correct address in CA. Must be some kind of hiccup in their system..fortunately the streaming works fine which is far more important. Hopefully it will get corrected. Meanwhile I'm disappointed they removed the filters from Free Movies and TV..makes it hard to find anything
