Flex showing Bluetooth device is connected, but it is not
Hello, my Xfinity flex box is showing my wireless headphones are connected via Bluetooth, but they’re not. I have reset the box, unplugged it. Hit “forget” option for headphones and they’re still showing connected. The headphones connect and disconnect fine with my phone and laptop. My headphones are currently flashing blue which means they’re in pairing mode, but not actually paired to a device, even though the flex box shows they’re connected. This has happened before and if I select “forget device” (headphones), that usually removes them from “connected devices” on the screen, and I’m able to reconnect. However, for a couple days now, that hasn’t worked. I’m trying to find instructions on how to reset the flex box to factory settings hoping that will clear the headphones and allow me to actually reconnect them, but nothing I’m finding works. Please help. Thank you.

@FJessica Hello and good morning, and thank you for reaching out here over our Xfinity Community Forums. I am so sorry to hear that you are experiencing these issues just trying to remove your Bluetooth headset from the list of connected devices on your cable box, that would definitely be really frustrating. I am just curious, since sometimes the Bluetooth device list will still show old devices that are not currently connected, in case you may want to use them again sometime, when you actually connect the Bluetooth headset in question to a different device, or turn them off, are you getting audio coming through your TV speakers as usual from the cable box, or is there no sound due to this issue, unless you are using the Bluetooth headphones? -Christopher
