How to pair an XR16 flex remote with an unlisted projector?

I just setup my flex box and am unable to pair the remote with my projector to be able to control power, volume, etc.  My projector's manufacturer (Akaso) is unlisted, and I can't seem to find a way to enter a 5-digit code with the XR16 remote, unlike some of the older remotes.  How can I pair my XR16 with my projector using the 5-digit code? (I already have a code ready to try)

Hello, @TQ135, and thank you for bringing this to our attention through our Forums page! I understand you've been having some trouble while trying to pair your X1 voice remote to your projector, but rest assured; you're with the pros, and our Digital Care Team is here to help, every step of the way!

I do have a few steps, taken from our website, which may be able to help you with having this remote paired. Please let me know if this was helpful, and I will be standing by!

  1. Go to the Remote Code Lookup tool (https://comca.st/3ct7wiC) and pick the Voice Remote you have. Then click Continue and follow the steps in the tool to program your remote.
  2. If you can't find the code in the lookup tool, check to see if your remote has a Setup button. Then follow these steps:

If it has a Setup button:

  1. Turn on your TV.
  2. Press and hold Setup until the light at the top of the remote changes from red to green.
  3. Enter 9-9-1. The light should flash green twice.
  4. Keep pressing CH ^ until the TV turns off.
  5. Once the TV turns off, press Setup to lock in the code.
  6. Press the TV power button on the remote. If the TV turns on, you're all set!

If it doesn't have a Setup button but has number buttons (XR15 Voice Remote for X1 or Flex):

  1. Turn on your TV.
  2. Press and hold the xfinity and Mute buttons together for five seconds until the light at the top changes from red to green.
  3. Type the first five-digit code for the TV manufacturer.
    • If the remote light blinks green twice, the code is correct.
    • If the remote light blinks red then green, the code is incorrect.
  4. Aim the remote at the TV, and press the Power button.
    • If the TV turns off, turn the TV back on and make sure the Volume and Mute buttons work.
    • If the TV doesn't turn off, try the next code.

@XfinityTyler it's not an X1 remote it's an XR16, but based on your response I take it the answer is that it's not possible, at least not for this remote, since I've gone to the link before and it was utterly useless for my issue.  Thanks

Just to make sure, you don't have a keypad on your screen that you can move a courser over and find the number? If you don't mind sending me your email in a DM, I have a document that may be of some help to you!

I no longer work for Comcast.

@XfinityJosephB There is a cursor but attempting to enter numbers only searches through the list of manufacturers with the numbers I entered.  I tried to send you a DM but you didn't show up in the list of potential people to send to (there were other XfinityJoseph names though)
