Traveling with Flex

We are going to be traveling over the summer and want to use Flex while we are gone.  If the rental house has Comcast internet, can we use the Flex box?

Hey @RNesbit8343, thank you for reaching out to Xfinity Support on our Forums. Congratulations on the trip! The Flex box is currently only for in home use. When trying to connect outside your home internet it will ask you to connect to your network.

@XfinityNicolas  So you're saying it needs to see the Comcast/Xfinity IP address where it's assigned/subscribed? Then you're saying that then it couldn't be used as a 'Streaming Device' for Peacock while traveling either?

I've a friend traveling and he asked if the Flex 'device' he has w/'no Flex TV' subscription can travel. CAN IT BE USED AS A 'SREAMER' when traveling?

That's a great question, @wvzr1. No, it will not work outside his home network, but that's a awesome idea! I'll make sure forward your feedback to see if that's something we can update in the near future.
