YouTube App Zoomed In on Xfinity Flex

Hello,

I’m experiencing an issue where the YouTube app on my Xfinity Flex device appears zoomed in. This only affects YouTube—other apps and the Flex menu display normally.

I’ve already tried:

• Restarting the Flex box

• Adjusting video output resolution and format

• Signing out of YouTube

• Checking aspect ratio (TV doesn’t have remote)

• Casting from another device (which works fine)

The issue seems isolated to the YouTube app on Flex. Please advise if this is a known issue or if a fix is planned.

Thanks,

Matt

Thank you for reaching out about this, are you still experiencing the zoomed in app? We appreciate you sharing what steps you have taken so far, do you know which streaming box you have from Flex?

The app isn’t compatible with Flex Xi5 streaming TV Boxes. If you have one of these, you can exchange it on Flex by choosing the YouTube TV app tile and following the prompts to swap out your streaming TV Box.
