YouTube TV no sound on Flex

YouTube TV used to work fine on my Xfinity flex device. About a month ago the sound suddenly stopped working. Shows will still play through the app, just without sound. All the other apps including their sound still works just fine. The YouTube TV app through my actual TV also works including the sound. I’ve tried restarting the flex through the option menu multiple times with no change.

Hello @User987654, thank you for bringing this to our attention! We would be happy to assist with audio issues! Just so that we do not have you repeat steps you have already taken. Have you uninstalled and reinstalled the YouTube TV app on the Flex box?

@XfinityNicki​ there is no intuitive way to uninstall an app such as YouTube TV on the flex. If you could include instructions on how to do that, I would be happy to try.
