Beware of fraudulent sales tactics and customer service that promises to help only to leave you waiting hours for a resolution

In February I changed my service to Internet only. While trying to lower my rate, the sales person pushed me into a free Apple Watch and service to it saying it would be basically free and deducted from my internet price as a package to bring my rate lower. I agreed after specifically asking if I could use this watch with my daughter’s Verizon phone. He said I could no problem. I could pair it with any phone line. It was intended or my college daughter for her safety when she doesn’t have her cell phone as she lives in the city. She came home for break and we tried to pair and according to instructions I couldn’t pair to her Verizon phone as promised. Contacted customer service. They confirmed after reading the chat transcript that the sales agent lied about that. The watch is of no use for me. AND, he attached the bill to my mother’s cell phone bill. I specifically asked him if this would affect the mobile bill and he assured me that my mothers bill would be separate a this is a package to lower my Internet bill. After 3 days of chatting with customer service about 4 hours each day. I still don’t have a resolution. At one point a supervisor was sending me an email confirmation cancelling the service and watch as if I never got it and was sending me a label to return the watch but I never got the email. The next day back on chat to someone different that didn’t know how to help me. It’s a viscous cycle of no help and lots of waiting for agent response. Currently waiting for a return call. My faith in xfinity is zero. Minus zero. Anyone have same experience?
