How do I delete my Xfinity Community profile?

Since I created my Xfinity Community profile the amount of spam in my email inbox has exploded.  I'm not talking about notifications of posts in the community -- I'm talking about phishing emails, invitations to presumably malicious sites and so forth.  This occurred almost immediately after I created my profile, so I have good reason to believe that (a) the events are related and, (b) community profiles are being harvested by malicious actors.

So I want to delete my profile and there doesn't seem to be a customer-facing way to do that.  Do I need to call a service rep to do this for me?

@BernardBianca Yikes! I am sorry to hear this is happening. I would recommend reporting these emails. You can go here for information on how. I don't believe there is a way to fully delete your profile, but we can help change your forum username and/or we can block your username from accessing the site. If these are something you would like to do, please let us know and we can get it taken care of for you.

@XfinityAbbie​ Thanks.  I changed the username.  I looked and the email is actually not visible to other users, but it is trivial to infer that the username would also be the customer's email handle.  We're good for now.
