Comcast changed my phone number without permission
I've been a Xfinity customer for over 20 years. Comcast changed my xfinity landline voice without permission. I recently moved last winter. And recently this week Monday, I received a new xfinity modem upgrade.
I spoke to an agent on Monday to activate my device for internet and phone which I already had working on old modem.
During the activation of new modem, Internet worked correctly but phone had no dialtone. And agent finally got phone to work. I ended the chat. Later the day, I noticed the phone line was changed to a new number.
I called chat with an agent 3 more times, and agent says they will change it back to the old number. It will change to old voice number after 24 hrs. I reached back on Wednesday no change, and reached back Thursday no change. Another agent says, they can't change the phone number back. We had our original landline phone numbers for years.

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
