No voicemail notifications on Comcast landline phone

I am no longer getting voicemail notifications on my landline. There is nothing on my phone, and the stuttered dial tone is not there either. The message is there, but no notification.  I signed up for email notifications, because that is the only way that I know that I have a voicemail. What to do???

@Jrzy70

Good morning! Thank you for reaching out to us here through our Xfinity Forums support. I can definitely understand how convenient it is to have your voicemail sent to your email so you can access them anytime easily. We are glad to help make sure this feature is working perfectly for you.

First, I would recommend making sure the settings are set up properly. Would you log into https://comca.st/33w2Sj3 and follow the below steps to be sure you have your preferences set up for email notifications, please?

Log in using your Xfinity ID or email and password.

Ensure you are on the Voice tab.

Click on the Settings icon in the top right corner of the page and click on Settings.

Click on Voicemail Notifications.

Select the Enable voicemail transcription box and enter a valid email address in the Email Notifications section.

Select the Email Notification Options that align with your preferences.

Please let us know if this helps or if you have any questions.

As user_1b0125 writes, this is an answer without a clue.  My problem is not the email. I no longer get any notice on my on the handset that I have a voicemail message waiting. The part where it shows you the time and date. It used to tell me when I had a voicemail message. Also, the dial tone is no longer stuttered. This was a another indication that a voicemail message was waiting. Do you have a solution for this?

We'd be happy to go through some troubleshooting on our end, to see if there is something we can do. Do you mind sending me a PM with your name and address?

To send a "Peer to peer" message:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

• Click the "Peer to peer chat" icon

• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

• Press Enter to send it

I no longer work for Comcast.

This is an answer without a clue.  They did not ask for how to get email notifications, they said that was all that WAS working.

I am having similar problems, many calls are not going to voicemail at all, just getting busy signal.  This should not be possible!  All calls should go to voicemail if not answered.  I have already missed multiple business calls because of this.  The robots just ask me to reset the modem, when the chat help even works which is only about 50/50.
