spam call filtering

A week ago, my home phone worked fine. I left for a work trip and now when I try to place a call (to my mom or my sister), it says the number is protected by spam call filtering and I need to enter a two digit code, but even when I enter the code, the call still doesn't go through. It's highly annoying that I can't make phone calls. What needs to be done to fix this?

@user_ol8i12 Welcome to our community forum! Thank you for letting us know about the spam filtering that's preventing you from making calls. We'll stick with you here until we figure this out together :). Is this only happening when you call your mom and sister? What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?

So far I've only noticed the issue with my mom and sister. As for trouble shooting, I haven't done anything other than entering the two digit code to complete the call, though it only goes through some of the time.  Just seems weird that it worked fine, then I'm gone for a few days and then I suddenly have issues calling people.
