Unsubscribe from xfinity mobile emails
I'm having an issue that I can't unsub from xfinity mobile emails. I go to the unsub URL and it shows I'm not subscribed to anything. I've had many people in chat tell me they've fixed it for me. I've called xfinity support and they that they cannot figure out how to unsub me so I should simply block their emails or better yet, I can just delete my email address from my xfinity account. UM.......... REALLY?????
The 2 emails I get every Tuesday are:
Get a FREE 5G phone with a Premium Unlimited line!
For you: iPhone 16 ON US when you switch
When I look at the full email headers, there's an unsub URL. It's broken.
https://comcastdotcom-mkt-prod1-m.adobe-campaign.com/webApp/unsubNoClick?id=<redacted>
This unsub URL just hangs for a long time and gives me an error.
HTTP connection timed out.WEB-530007 Error relaying '/webApp/unsubNoClick' to URL 'http://localhost:8080/webApp/unsubNoClick?id=<redacted>'.
How can I get this reported to someone who actually knows the email system and remove me instead of some underpaid offshore support person telling me I don't know how to fix it, can't you just delete the emails and not worry about it? Again... UM!!!!

I attempted to get support to help.
Which of course failed!
Yesterday June 3rd, I simply turned Xfinity into the FCC for not correcting their problems and sending multiple spam messages.
This is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
Who [Edited: "Language"] would want Xfinity wireless when you cant get service!

Good afternoon @user_914658, and thank you for reaching out on our Community Forums. That URL does not look like a valid Comcast link and may be a spam or phishing attempt. I would recommend reporting this to our dedicated Customer Security Assurance (CSA) team here https://spa.xfinity.com/help/network-abuse?faq=report-online-harassment.

I have a easy no nonsense way to give you the exact email.
Send me your personal email at xfinity. The next email frim Xfinity wireless i will forward directly to you.
Failure to do my request displays Xfinity support has no interest in solving this problem. Truthfully I pay way too much for something so simple to be so difficult!
And please forward my sediment! Why [Edited: "Language"] would I ever go to Xfinity wireless and can not get a level of support I deserve with a triple play!

So no progress anywhere so far. I'm now receiving 3 emails/week from Xfinity Mobile. Xfinity support told me to message them privately for help and guidance. They gave me the phone # of a different team I can call. That person was just as unhelpful as the rest, suggesting that I simply block them in gmail because they have no knowledge about how to unsubscribe me. After getting loud, they said that they would open a ticket and gave me a ticket #. This was SUNDAY. They said it would take a day or two to resolve or at least be emailed a response. So far, nothing. And since they haven't emailed me, they don't even have the right info to investigate because I obviously can't give them email headers over the phone. Not being able to unsubscribe to a newsletter is the most basic thing. Why can't xfinity or Adobe (the ESP Xfinity uses to send their spam) fix their systems to make them work as they should? Why is Xfinity's choice to be unhelpful and suggest that I block the emails because they aren't technically proficient enough to solve a problem the right way?

So some progress.
First of all, Xfinity has been absolutely no help whatsoever. I insisted that they open a ticket, I've heard nothing back. On this thread, Xfinity employees recommended I write to them and that went nowhere either. Still kept saying they don't know how to fix it so why can't I just block them through my email filters. Draw your own conclusions, I sure have.
But I kept going into the email headers to pull the unsub link and I finally got one that worked. I got a confirmed, you've been unsubscribed by Adobe Marketing (the ESP that Xfinity uses to send their marketing emails). We'll see if it actually works but it's something.
To say how disappointed in Comcast support is an understatement. They don't know how their own products work or have a path forward to escalate to the proper teams when unusual issues arise. And how many people out there actually know and understand how to analyze email headers and pull relevant info from them because the unsub link that Xfinity includes in these emails doesn't actually work?!
