Voicemail password?

If I dial #99 from my home phone to access my voicemail, I can access it with no problems. However, when I try to call from an outside number and try to put in my PIN, it says that the password is incorrect. Is the password the Xfinity password to log in to the website? Thanks.

Great question @user_PM1 the PIN for your voicemail is not the same password to log into you account via the website. Here is a great link that will help you reset your PIN.

@XfinityPeterH​ Thanks, Peter. The problem is when I call from a different number, it asks for my password. I put in the PIN (4 digits) and it said that it's incorrect.

Hi there, @user_PM1 I'm very sorry for the trouble you are having with your pin. Please be assured you reached the right person to assist you. The Application PIN is the touch tone keypad equivalent of the first four characters of your Xfinity Email password. E.g., if your Xfinity Email password is spectrum your Application PIN would be spec or 7732 on your keypad. For symbols and special character, use the 1 key. If a password reset is necessary, go to the Forgot Your Password page and enter your Xfinity ID, Xfinity Email address or an email address linked to your account.-Richard
