Voicemail

I recd an email from X:Finity Voice, saying I have a 44 second voice message. Came from Area code 301-655-8xxx.

I did not sign-in thinking a phishing email to get personal information. IS THIS A LEGIT XFINITY MESSAGE?

Email and I'm not hitting the button to play. Xfinity has my number WHY not leave a message on my voicemail. I don't feel comfortable. It's very strange. Thx.

Understandable. We'd be happy to investigate further. Can you send a direct message with your first and last name and service address? To send a direct message click the "Direct Messaging" chat icon in the top right corner of the page, then click on the pen and pad icon and enter "Xfinity Support" in the "To" section of the chat.

I have the same issue as SchrammJ but I don't see an response.  Recently, I started to receive voicemail purportedly from xfinity. Below is a copy-and-paste of the most recent one.  Note that in one place, it says "X:Finity".  It looks too weird for me to open, so I haven't opened any of them, but I'd like to find out for sure.

We take our customer's security very seriously. And you can rest assured, we will get to the bottom of this. We should be able to determine on our end if a recent call has been made or not. However, If this is not the case, the best way to report any spam or phishing concerns would be through our Customer Security Assurance team. You can click on the link to visit our online website. There is also an Alert section where you can see specific phone numbers that have been marked as a Security Risk. That said, I'd be happy to check our records to confirm if it is a security concern or not. Could you please send our team a private message with your full name and full address? Thanks again. 

 

To send a Direct Message:
