Xfinity Home Voicemail, access from Any Phone not working with Cell Phone

I can access my Xfinity Home Voicemail from my Home phone with the *99 feature.

When I try to use my Xfinity S22 Ultra or S9 cell phones, as instructed,

1. Dial your home phone number.  2. When your personal greeting starts, press #.

Doing so with the cell phone, pressing the # key generates the tone, Home Voicemail will not respond to # tone.  Cannot hear voicemail.

Voicemail Login is Off.

Is there something I'm missing?

So I woke up this morning and had one of those AaaHa embarrassing moments.

My AT&T desk phone is connected to Xfinity Home service.  When I call Xfinity Home Voicemail with this phone everything works fine.

Then I realized that when I called my Xfinity Home number with my cell phone, waiting for the message prompt, I was listening to the AT&T voice prompt, not Xfinity Home.   So I turned off the voice recording on my AT&T phone, the cell now hears the prompt from Xfinity Home, and the # tone works as it should.  Thank you for your help and input, my issue is Solved.   I guess you can add this item to a troubleshooting database.

That is wonderful news! We're so glad that you were able to get that straightened out! I know all too well how confusing it can get! I'd had a relative that had an older answering machine that somehow she'd setup in place of her Xfinity voicemail, and I tell ya, she got pretty confused, but it was all sorted out in the end!
In any case, please know that our team is here for you any time you need us along with a variety of ways to contact us, whether it be via social media such as Facebook, Twitter, or here, as well as over the phone with our awesome teammates or even in store! I hope you have an awesome rest of your day!

I no longer work for Comcast.

Hi, @user_5d6417, thanks for taking the time to detail those steps you've been taking to access your messages. I'm always using my cell, so I totally get wanting that convenience to hear your voicemail. You are following the correct steps, which can also be viewed here. Xfinity does a great job of always creating ways for customers to use their service and features remotely, so I'm sorry you've been dealing with this. Is it just your S22 Ultra that is having trouble getting access or multiple devices? Also, what troubleshooting steps have you already taken? This will help avoid repeating steps and also get us more aligned with the next steps.

As I said above, When I try to use my Xfinity S22 Ultra or S9 cell phones, as instructed, Home Voicemail will not respond to # tone.

I cannot check Home Voicemail with the # tone.  Both phones were shutdown and restarted, what other troubleshooting steps need to be done ?

@user_5d6417, You can use the My Account app for some basic troubleshooting steps, that's usually a really great first step. But no worries, I'm in your corner now and would like to run some targeted troubleshooting steps with you. In order to get started can you please send a direct message to Xfinity Support with your full name and full address by clicking the chat icon in the top right?
