Gpappin Thank you for your post for help with your voicemail on one of your Xfinity mobile phones.  There are a few voicemail options. You can use the voicemail app, but customers always have a default manual box as well. For Android devices, you can check out this page here to see how both options. For iPhones, check here .

This is not a mobile phone issue.   These are land lines connected to Xfinity cable modem.   We had one phone line thru Xfinity Voice and converted a second phone line that we had to Xfinity voice.  The original line had an answering machine attached, so we never setup Xfinity vmail.  We added the second line and needed to setup vmail, but it gave the error "mailbox unavailable".

We just tried again to set it up and the first line works just fine (*99 setup).   The second phone line however still gets the error no matter which option we choose (*99 or *82).

It would appear that something needs to be done at your end.

Based on previous posts, it seems that the only way to get this resolved is to DM with Xfinity - so please provide that capability.

Thank you for clarifying, @Gpappin! We can assist you with getting your voicemail set up for the landline phone, too. Please send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account.
To send a Direct Message, please click on the “Direct Message” icon in the top-right corner of the screen, next to the bell icon click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon then type or select "Xfinity Support". Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window and press Enter to send your message and initiate a live session.
