Change my landline phone number
I got a call today from someone who claimed she had received a spam call from my Xfinity landline number, and I assume it is an incident of spoofing. I'd like to know what I should do about this. I want to change my number, and any other measures that might correct this situation.

Hello @lwfrana, Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your day to leave a post on our community forum and we would be happy to help. Please check out What is phishing? and Common phone scams and how to protect yourself and Protecting yourself from fraud. As for the spoofing concern you would have to install a third-party call blocking app to help block robocalls, text spam, scam calls, and more. Do keep in mind though even if we change your number your new number can be spoofed as well. There is no way for us to stop them form doing this, I do apologize.
