Changing phone number

We're considering having our Comcast home landline phone number changed to a new unlisted number if that's possible.  Can we get some answers on this, please?  We don't want to change anything yet -- just want to find out first what is involved, how to go about it, etc., then we can decide whether to do it or not.  Thank you.

All you will need to do is reach out to us, right here, we will then invite you to a private conversation. In that conversation, we will need to verify your home phone landline PIN, and then we can make the changes for you. It really is quite a simple process.

@XfinityKimberlyB  I am reaching out to you here, as requested.  I don't remember ever having a home phone landline PIN -- just a voicemail PIN.  Once you make the invite official, we'll go into information further.  Thank you.

Please send us a private message and we can provide the instructions on how to obtain your voice pin.

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.

   - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

   - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

   Press Enter to send it.

I no longer work for Comcast.
