Eastern Standard Time sync

The  time on my home phones did not adjust to the recent change to Eastern Standard Time.  Isn't this automatic?  It was when I had CenturyLink/Brightspeed.

The  time on my home phones did not adjust to the recent change to Eastern Standard Time ...

Caller ID information includes the date and time, and the CID display should update every time a call comes in. Note that the information is transmitted between the first and second rings, so answering too quickly can block the data.

If you have a cell phone, calling your home phone from it and letting it ring twice should correct the time display. Or call a friend and ask them to call you back.

Thank you for helping out a new guy to Xfinity.  Before I got a chance to do what you suggested, someone called my number and immediately corrected the time.  But at least I know for the next time change.
