How to set up landline

How do I set up a landline? I have Xfinity internet.

How to Send Us a Direct Message:

  1. Click "Sign In" if necessary.
  2. Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or visit Xfinity Direct Messaging.
  3. Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon.
  4. In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support".
  5. As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
  6. An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.
  7. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.
  8. Press Enter to send it.

i signed up for internet, landline AND mobile because i was promised it would be free for a year. while i was able to set up the internet by myself, the landline still DOES NOT WORK. why? because the number they issued was not the number they promised me. it took me hours to get that straightened out via phone, and the number i was promised was gone by then. and, yet, the new number still DOES NOT work. as for the mobile phone, my order was canceled when the delivery was made because i was not home to sign for it. hours on the phone later, my order was replaced and the mobile phone arrived yesterday. i had been told to visit an Xfinity store to activate the mobile phone and have my data transferred from my old phone. when i walked into the store, i saw several young men fronting as employees slouched over counters playing with their own phones. the person who waited on me began trying to activate my phone, told me that he couldn’t, and began berating me about why i chose to call Xfinity to order services. he demanded to know why i didn't just come into the store in the first place. i told him that i just moved to the area and was offered a discount on services via a flyer. but he didn’t get it, continued berating me, telling me the phone wouldn’t activate and offered no solutions. he had me call a phone number on my Spectrum mobile phone, but no one answered. there was nothing but robos. after taking my Spectrum phone from me, he continued pressing buttons on it. i had no clue what he was doing since he didn’t COMMUNICATE. another employee walked by and i asked if he was the supervisor. he answered no. i asked him where the store manager was and he replied that the manager didn’t work on Saturdays. Jeez! what a clown show. i left before i got any more angrier. is this how profesisonal people behave these days? you don’t care about customers. you’re just collecting a paycheck and playing with your own phones all day? i need help with this mess now!
