land line and cell phone when connected to xfinity wifi dropping calls

My land line (with Xfinity) for the past 6 months is dropping calls after about 4 minutes.  I switched to just using my cell phone......Now, my cell phone is doing the same thing (only when I am home and the phone is connected to my xfinity internet).  I have purchased new land line phones (3, and all do the same thing, so not a plug in issue), and got the same results of dropped calls.  I tested my cell phone when not home and not connected to xfinity wifi and it doesn't drop calls.  I have restarted the router.  So I have in both cases of land line and cell phone eliminated that it is the actual phone.  Nothing is working, yesterday I was on my cell phone and the person had to call me back 8 times within 20 minutes.  So now I don't really have any phone service.  I need help!!

Greetings @user_6y4dfw, and thanks for using the Xfinity forums for your issue today, I hope this message finds you well. As someone that has a landline also that is used for emergency, I can understand the need for the phone to work, you have reached the right team that can take a look at this issue for you. Just wanted to ask a few questions.
 - Is your phone plugged directly into the modem?

 - When you are at home, on your cell phone is Wi-Fi calling turned on?

Thanks for your response.  I have three land line phones all connected through phone jacks, not directly to the modem.  I have checked the modem and there is a line plugged into a slot labeled "phone".  I tried to unplug/unsnap and reconnect but it was not allowing me to do so.  Lodged in very tightly.

As for my cell phone.  It appears that may have been a separate issue that my cell carrier hopefully has repaired through a reset of my cell phone network yesterday.  So I do want to focus on the land line at this time.  If the cell phone begins acting up again, I will repost it here.

But, if you feel the cell phone may be affecting my land line, "When you are at home, on your cell phone is Wi-Fi calling turned on?"  The answer is yes, my cell phone is on wi-fi.
