Landline not working

I recently upgraded to the Xfinity gateway and my internet is working great but my landline has no dial tone. I have tried plugging my phone directly into the modem and it still does not work.

Hey there, @user_l0be49. There is most likely a provisioning portion that needs to be completed. If you could please send me a DM with your first and last name along with your full-service address, we can get started diving into your no dial tone issue.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://comca.st/3EqVMu7
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
 - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
 - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it

You've reached the right place for help troubleshooting this issue. Can you tell me a bit more about what you're experiencing and any steps you've tried already? For example, are you receiving a dial tone and have you tried any of the helpful troubleshooting steps using the Xfinity app?
