move phone number

I moved my service, but they did not get my comcast phone number moved with my service.  I was told to call support, but the automatic system there is not capable of handling the request.  I was able to get to a chat with an agent, who insisted to renew my service plan to save me $4.00 per month, and said they moved the phone number, but it still hasn't worked.  How do I get this accomplished?

It is good to know there is a direct message option to Xfinity Support.  I was able to get my problem resolved by calling the main support number.  I was not able to speak to a real person until the automated system went through the following steps.  The automated system rebooted my modem remotely which did not solve my problem.  I had already rebooted it myself.  It told me- "Rebooting your modem can take 10 minutes, we will call you back to check if it resolved your problem,  Good Bye" and it ended the call.  When the automated system called back, I stated that the problem has not been resolved, so it informed me an agent would call me back shortly and ended the call again.  The automated system called back a second time informing me that an agent will be online shortly.  Finally when the agent, (a real person) got on the phone I was able to explain the problem and they quickly resolved it.  The whole process took 30 minutes of my time when a live agent could have taken care of it in about 2 minutes from the start.
