we purchased new landlines and installed need help not working

  • Make sure the phone is plugged into the correct port on your Xfinity gateway (usually labeled Tel 1 or Phone).
  • If you’re using wall jacks, confirm they’re activated. Sometimes you need to connect the gateway to the home wiring for all jacks to work.
