No dial tone after installing new modem

Installed the new modem you sent me, now there is no dail tone in my home phone.

I am paying you for this service, but you are not providing it.  I feel like I'm being ripped off.  What is going on.  Did all the troubleshooting steps your virtual assistant suggested.  Nothing works.  Please fix it or refund my money.  Does this seem fair to you?
