No dial tone on phone after replacing modem.

All the cables are the same as they were, I have tried cycling the gateway, still can't make calls.  Please help.

user_sqmbn0 Thanks for posting on our Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your landline is experiencing trouble. Have you tried the automated troubleshooting steps through the Xfinity app/website? It would be my starting place as it can run diagnostics and autocorrect several error codes that may be occurring, and offer additional steps to take to troubleshoot as well.
