No dial tone on phone

My phone currently has no dial tone - all incoming calls get re-directed to voicemail. I have tried multiple phones plugged directly into my gateway and have not been able to get a dial tone.

Hello, @user_9pj9f1 sorry to have read your calls are going straight to voicemail. We're here to help! Let's go over some simple solutions.

If Xfinity Voice calls are going straight to voicemail, it may be due to the call being forwarded to voicemail because the phone is turned off or offline. Additionally, if Call Waiting is temporarily canceled, incoming calls will also go directly to voicemail. To manage call forwarding settings, sign in to Xfinity Voice Settings, click on Call Forwarding, and adjust the number of rings before calls are diverted to voicemail. For spam calls, high-risk calls will be blocked and unable to leave a voicemail, while medium-risk calls will be sent directly to voicemail.

The lack of dial tone is the big issue. Clearly the phone is offline.

@user_9pj9f1 Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? To send a direct message:

1. In the top right corner, you'll see a little chat icon near the bell icon. Click the direct message icon

2. Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

3. In the 'To' line, type "Xfinity Support" there. A drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list (an "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line)

4. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

5. Press Enter to send it. An official employee, such as myself or whoever is first available, will respond. Thanks!
