No Dial Tone

Out Xfinity Voice stopped working several months ago. The phone is plugged directly into the gateway. It stopped working about the time we got a new gateway. I have tried all the recommended troubleshooting items suggested with no luck.

My dad is getting nowhere either and has been without phone since Saturday since we hooked up the new gateway modem.  Can't get a human on the line to talk yo to activate or provision his phone with it connected through the modem.  He is disabled and needs his phone

I have the same issue. Went through all troubleshooting steps several times (including getting a new gateway) to no avail.  The guy at the Xfinity store said he could see no reason why it shouldn't work.  No help from Xfinity..
