Old wired phone to network? Do they make a wireless box to plug it in?
I have a few old phones that I would like to connect to my xfi. I have no way of running a wire from the phone(s) to the xfi device. Does Xfinity sell a box I can just plug a wired (rj11) phone into and it will work its way back to my xfi? Thanks!

In order to use the second connector you'd have to add a second line to your home phone service subscription. Unless you have some particular reason for doing that you might consider using a phone line splitter like https://www.amazon.com/Phone-Splitter-Telephone-Suitable-Machine/dp/B08RHY7RN8 to connect more than one phone.
Your rotary phone should work for incoming calls, but if it uses rotary (pulse) dialing you probably will not be able to use it to make calls without a pulse-to-tone converter. In that case you might find a gadget like the "DialGizmo" device described in https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/home-phone-service-equipment/can-receive-phone-calls-on-rotary-dial-phone-but-cannot-dial-out/602dad38c5375f08cdbe5ef7?commentId=602daf27c5375f08cd0298bc helpful.

Sorry, no. You need to have a pair of conductors from each phone to the eMTA or gateway device.

According to https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/broadband-gateways-userguides almost all Comcast gateways support CAT-iq 2.0 cordless phones, although I can find no details about this in their help articles. See https://www.google.com/search?q=CAT-iq+2.0+phones

Can I plug a phone into the 2nd (i.e., old rotary phone, etc.) line connection on the back of my Voice and Data Modem Technicolor CGM4140COM?

Thanks BruceW! I will get a splitter and hook it up. We have antique phones (lollypops, etc.) and in the other house - we could just plug them into the wall jacks (couldn't dial out BUT could answer calls).
Here, it is wireless - but the splitter should do the job. Will hook up one of the phones for the Grandkids.
Thanks a bunch!
