outage

There was a two-hour outage in Seattle this morning. Email out, phone out. When I tried to see an outage map, Xfinity told me "no outages in your area." Then I scrolled down and found maps with colored dots and hotspots all over my First Hill neighborhood. Irritating. No explanation or apology.

Athena14 We know that a service interruption is never a good experience, and we can look into this on our end to see what we can find. To send a direct message, please click on the chat icon in the top-right corner of the screen, and select "Xfinity Support" to initiate a Direct Message.
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "direct messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it

Thank you, Shawn. Of course that won't work when all my Xfinity stuff is down, as it was yesterday 5/10.
