People I call can't hear me but I can hear them

When I make an outbound call, I can hear the person on the other end of the line but they can't hear me. This has been going on for over a month. I have a Netgear AC1900 C7100V.

This topic has been discussed as part of another recent thread as well but there hasn't been a resolution, so I'm creating its own thread for visibility to Xfinity. For reference, this is the other thread where there has been some discussion: https://forums.xfinity.com/t5/Home-Phone-Service-Equipment/Caller-cannot-hear-me-but-I-can-hear-the-caller-on-landline/td-p/3204541

Been dealing with the same issue. It seems to have something to do with call forwarding. If you ask advanced tech support to turn off your call forwarding service, it resolves this issue.

We’ve had the same problem for over a year and it doesn’t matter who initiates the call or whether the other person is on a landline or cell phone. Randomly, the person on the other end of the conversation will stop being able to hear what our side is saying but we can always hear them. Sometimes if we keep the call going, they’ll be able to hear again but not always. Restarting the modem doesn’t help and Comcast says there’s nothing wrong though obviously that isn’t the case.

@HAJ33, due to the age of this thread, it has been closed and is no longer being monitored for responses. Please create a new thread for additional assistance. We look forward to hearing from you to be able to assist with your Xfinity concerns!

I no longer work for Comcast.
