Porting a phone number from another carrier to my existing Xfinity phone number

24 years of loyalty and worst service I have ever experienced lately

I will be on attempt number 7 with requesting Xfinity to port my phone number from another carrier to make it my Xfinity phone number and they have failed to do so every single time, despite guaranteeing me or assuring me it will be fixed within 3-5 days or 24-48 hrs and when it not fixed, I have to call back and explain everything again to a different agent whom does a different process than the last agent did but then again guarantees me it will be fixed. On top of that they instead give me a new number I did not request!! I was given assurance that my issue was escalated to the highest level “portal engineers” whom would fix my issue with 24-48 hours but yet nothing has been fixed. Now I have a different phone number that I didn’t request and also doesn’t work and still waiting for my phone number to be ported which has not yet happened.

24 years of loyalty to Xfinity and this is what I get

Hello Madmax22, thank you for reaching out here in our Xfinity Community forum. I understand your frustration, and I just want to help. I understand you have already spoken to several people trying to get a number ported (over which should be a relatively simple process). You also mentioned your request had been escalated to the "highest level", which I absolutely understand what you were told. I would like to get deeper into this to find out what is going on. To do that will require some account information best kept private.

Please send us a direct message with your full name and complete service address to "Xfinity Support". To do so, click on the direct messaging icon located at the top right of this forums page.
