Rotary Phone - Can I still hook it up?
When I moved into my current home about 7 years ago I found an old rotary phone in the basement. When I had my Internet, phone, and cable set up by Xfinity, the tech tried to hook the phone up so that it could still be used as a house phone.
Of course, he didn't spend all day working on it, but he couldn't get it to work.
I am fine if I have to order parts or something like that, but I want to know what parts I would need (if any) and what I would have to do to get it to work
*I am well aware of the limitations of dial phones, this is merely to be able to make calls to freinds and relatives on a real retro phone*
This is my model:
Western Electric Bell System 354 Wall Mount Rotary Telephone 6A Dial F1
Thanks,

Comcast doesn’t support pulse dialing (what rotary phones use) but tone dialing.
Some of had success with this in the past. Good luck
