Voice service

New modem. Everthing works but no dial tone/voice service. Restarted modem, normal troubleshooting. Nothing works. No customer support.

I have the same problem.  The new gateway was installed and now there is no dial tone on landline.  I've reset the gateway.  The phone is connected directly to the gateway, so it is not house wiring.  I've confirmed phone connections on the gateway, applying them exactly the way they were in the old gateway and as per instructions.  Television and Internet are working.  This should be a simple swap.  Technology nowadays is not like the 1980s.

Hello, user_sdvxnm! Congratulations on the new modem! That is always exciting! We are happy to help further with the phone service. With the steps you have tried, this is likely related to the phone provisioning. I will need to take a look at your account from here.

I don't understand your reply. What is provisioning and are you looking at my account to solve the problem.

Provisioning is when we update the files for your service to the equipment at your home., @user_sdvxnm. It would ensure the phone service is connected to the correct modem and hopefully then start working on your end. I need to chat with you in a direct message to access your account.
