ways to connect xfinity voice
I have a modem that doesn't have a phone connection for voice but my router has a phone connection. Will voice work if connected to this router? Also is there a phone adapter available for those that don't have a phone connection on the modem? I think years ago Xfinity had an adapter to connect the phone service for those that didn't have internet. If so Is this adapter still available? If none of this makes sense is there another way to get home voice without a modem? I think at one time I had cable tv and a phone but no internet and I think I was given an adapter for the phone.

Hi, @user_54e299. Thank you for reaching out. I hope you are doing well. I appreciate you circling back here, so we can help you further. Based on the Xfinity Voice Minimum Equipment Requirements you would need a Xfinity Gateway or a third party eMTA modem approved by Xfinity. The set-up you have now would not work via the router. At this time, I don't see we have any additional adapters as well. You can visit this link to review the My Device Info site to learn about approved third party devices by Xfinity.
