Why am I seeing the number 2001000001 as a placed call on my landline phone log?

This number is showing up right after/before the call is transferred to Nomorobo.

Sounds like you have call forwarding or selective call forwarding setup. Have you checked on that? Appreciate you getting us in the loop.

Getting lots of calls from names of people or businesses that I don't know.

When looking at the call history on these calls on my xfinity call history its showing 2001000001.

Based on the information you have provided, it sounds like you have been a customer with us for a while. That number was set up in your call features to take advantage of the old voice2go feature that has been retired for quite some time now. Please have a look at your calling features based on this article: Manage Calling Features and Voicemail.
