Xfinity changed my home phone number without my knowledge or authorization
When discussing some plan changes to get a rate adjustment Xfinity changed my home phone number without my knowledge or consent. When I called to get this fixed initially they said they would take care of it and it would take 24 - 48 hours. Now they are telling me I have to contact Century Link to get my phone number back. I have had this number for 25 years and as you can imagine it is the number many people have to reach me. The number the gave to to discuss this, 877-397-9734 does not work or is busy.
Great service for what they alwasy grefer to me as a gold level customer of 20 years.

Thank you for reaching out to us here @user_sfc2ax. I would be happy to look into any phone number issue from here for you. Could you send us a direct message with the full name and complete address for your service?
To send a direct message [private message]:
Click the "Direct Message" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
