Remove a lock from Xfinity Home (Answered)

Learn how to use your Xfinity Home touchscreen to remove a Lock from your Xfinity Home system.

What you'll need

  • Xfinity Home
  • Access to your touchscreen
  • Your Master Keypad Code

Removing a lock

  1. On your Home screen:
    • Swipe up to open the dashboard (if applicable), tap the gear icon, then tap Devices.
    • Or, if your touchscreen has apps, tap the Settings icon.
  2. Enter your Master Keypad Code.
  3. On the Categories screen, tap Home Devices.

    Settings > Categories screen - Home Devices option is third from bottom.

  4. On the Home Devices screen, tap Door Locks.

    Settings > Home Devices screen - Door Locks is second option up from the bottom.

  5. On the Door Locks screen, tap Delete Door Locks.

    Settings > Door Locks screen - Delete Door Locks option is at bottom.

  6. Tap the Lock that you want to remove.

    Settings screen with messaging: Choose the door lock Device you wish to remove.

  7. Tap Yes to confirm.

    Confirmation message: Deleting a door lock device cannot be undone. Are you sure you want to delete the 'Door Lock'?

Congratulations! You've successfully removed the Lock from your system.
