Learn about Xfinity Home devices and where to get help adding, managing, and troubleshooting them.

Touchscreen

Your Xfinity Home touchscreen connects your devices and allows you to easily control your cameras, thermostats, lights, and more through the Xfinity app and Xfinity Home app.

Cameras

Want to keep an eye on things while you're away? Equipped with night vision, weather-resistant Cameras allow you to keep an eye on your home around the clock and in all conditions.

Add 24/7 Video Recording on up to six compatible Cameras. You can use the Xfinity app or the Xfinity Home app to view live video, create custom video clips and review video clips automatically bookmarked when your Camera detects motion.

Live Video Monitoring is standard with all Xfinity Home Cameras. It lets you view live video, take pictures and video clips, and create rules to automatically take pictures and video clips when system events occur. You can access your saved pictures and videos from the Xfinity app or the Xfinity Home app.

Thermostats

With an Xfinity Home Thermostat, you can automatically control the temperature of your home so that it's always just right.

Light Switches, Lighting/Appliance Controllers, and Outlet Controllers

Light Switches and Lighting/Appliance and Outlet Controllers allow you to monitor and control connected lights or small appliances while you're away from home.

Left on a light or your coffee pot? No worries! Use the Xfinity Home app to turn it off. You can also control your lighting devices from your touchscreen and the Xfinity app.

Did you know? Three controllers are supported by Xfinity Home: Lighting Controller (300W), Lighting/Appliance Controller (480W) and Outlet Controller (480W). Make sure to choose a controller with the correct wattage rating for the device or appliance you want to control. Centralite Light Switches are no longer sold by Xfinity but are still supported.

Door Locks

Kwikset SmartCode Door Locks allow you to lock and unlock your doors while you're away from home. Need to let loved ones, workers or the dog walker into your home while you're away? Use the Xfinity Home app to unlock and lock your door from an Internet-connected tablet or smartphone. You can also control your Locks from the Xfinity app.

Door/Window Sensors

Door/Window Sensors monitor when your doors and windows are opened and closed. Use the Xfinity Home app to create rules to get real-time text and email alerts to make sure your kids get home safely or to know when the dog-walker is coming and going. Monitor your Sensors from the Xfinity Home app or your touchscreen.

Motion Sensors

With Motion Sensors, you can get alerts when there's unexpected movement in your home, like motion in your living room when the house should be empty. Monitor your Sensors from the Xfinity Home app or your touchscreen.
