Annoying VVM texts

Whenever I get left voicemails I get texts such as

//VZWVVM:SYNC:ev=NM;id=449;c=1;t=v;s=18882662278;dt=06/05/2025 13:28 -0400;l=15;dev_t=5

no one at Xfinity has been able to help. I’m assuming it has to do with visual voicemails and the fact that I transferred from Verizon to Xfinity Mobile and also switched from a Google Pixel to an iPhone. My visual voicemail has been finicky in general since switching.

I’ve tried contacting Xfinity support, going to an Xfinity store, and even reaching out to corporate (they even outsourced that now which is disgraceful) and no one has had a clue what to do or what I’m talking about.

Has anyone else encountered this or have any ideas? Does anyone from Xfinity see these posts?

chevellesix Thanks for reaching out about the texting issue after you get a voicemail. I would be happy to help with getting this issue fixed for you.

Can you send us a direct message with your full name, name of account holder (if different), and service address please?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon (speech bubble)

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it
