same. I've been on the phone for hours with Xfinity and Apple. did the upgrades, did a network reset, deleted eSIM and installed a new one, MMS and SMS turned on. nothing. I just ported two phones over to Xfinity but will have to go back to Verizon. did not have this issue there. Sad
Just so you know, Xfinity addressed it for me yesterday. There was an issue with porting from Verizon over the weekend… I needed to get to tier 3 support with Xfinity and they were able to fix it on their end. My phones all work right now. And confirmed texts to non iPhones too.
@user_t65hfk I did go to the store after trying everything you did 10 times… And at the store, the rep was able to get tier 3 support who understood the issue was on Verizon side when they transferred/ported the line. This just got resolved yesterday… They said it was an issue with anyone who ported from Verizon in the last few days. Good luck.
Thank you for reaching out to us and sharing this update @user_6v854i! We’re glad to hear our tier 3 team was able to assist with completing the porting needed to enable texting for iPhone to Android.

user_t65hfk Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us here on our Xfinity Forums. I can definitely understand how frustrating it would be to not be able to send texts between Andriod and Apple devices. Reviewing the thread it looks like this was a known issue that our tier 3 XM technicians were able to resolve. Are you still experiencing this concern, or are you able to now send texts without issue?
