Disconnected notification

For the last 15 days or so, I have a notification popping up randomly on the upper left corner of my phone screen. It's is a bell with an exclamation point in the middle with the word disconnected below. Tapping the notification takes me to the xfinity app with no further information or explanation. Everything looks how it should. Could someone let me know how to fix the issue so this notification will stop popping up?

user_lt1117, Thank you for reaching out to Xfinity Support. I know that must be frustrating to deal with. First thing I would do is check your Xfinity Mobile notifications. Here are the steps in case you need them: 
To adjust Xfinity Mobile notifications, you need to manage your notification preferences through the Xfinity app. First, select the **Account** tab, then go to **Account settings** and **Notification settings**. Ensure your email address and/or mobile number is associated with your account. You can opt in to receive notifications by selecting the desired notification type and checking the appropriate boxes for **Network Access** and/or **Network Activity** notifications. For more detailed adjustments, visit **Your Communication & Ad Preferences** in the app.
