mobile hotspot

I use Xfinity hotspot at my apartment for wifi and for about 3 days now it hasn't been connecting.  I'm not sure if this a problem solely with my phone or with Xfinity, because I've had problems with Xfinity in the past. I've tried everything. I tried turning everything off and on again. I checked everything was updated. I just don't know what to do. it connects sometimes for short periods but then stops working.
